PSY 331 - THE PSYCHOLOGY OF ADJUSTMENT

Theoretical and empirical analysis of how people adjust to positive and negative life stressors (e.g., immigration, marriage, death/loss, and diagnosis of a chronic disease). Topics will include hope, personality, mindfulness, post-traumatic stress, substance use, and social support.

Prereq: PSY 100  or equivalent.
