NUR 211 - PROFESSIONAL NURSING CARE ACROSS THE LIFESPAN

The course will provide didactic and clinical experiences that enable the students to provide beginning professional nursing care with adults requiring intervention. Students will use the key concepts of safety, patient-centered care, nursing process, teaching-learning, and physical and psychosocial assessment in the care of adults with basic alterations in ability to meet human needs. Content related to providing a safe care environment, such as administering and monitoring medications, aseptic technique, and psychomotor skills will be addressed.

Prereq: NUR 200 , NUR 202 , NUR 203 , BIO 208 , DHN 212  with grade of C or higher.
