NUR 346 - PROMOTING INCLUSIVITY AND HEALTH OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY College of Nursing

This course is designed to prepare Undergraduate nursing students to gain critical knowledge needed for practice and cultural competence in caring for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender & gender expansive, and queer (LGBTQ)+ people. This course will expose students to health care issues and policies which affect the health status of LGBTQ+ populations.
Prereq: NUR 227 Foundations of Medical-Surgical Nursing Practice II, NUR 228 Foundations of Pathopharmacology II, NUR 230 Maternity & Reproductive Health, NUR 231 Concepts in Healthcare Delivery & Systems- Based Practice, or consent of instructor. Approved for Distance Learning.
