A topics course in Latin American literature and culture from the colonial period through the 19th century. Special emphasis on the interaction between literature, historical and social developments. Taught in Spanish. May be repeated to a maximum of 6 credits with topic change.

Prereq: SPA 310. Permission of instructor for students who did not receive B or better in SPA 310.
Repeatable up to 6 credit hours.
