Child Life Certificate


Prerequisite


Prerequisites for admission to the Undergraduate Certificate in Child Life include (9 credit hours):

Required Courses


Note: Each prerequisite must be completed with a B grade or better.

Due to the limited number of students admitted to the child life certificate program each year, applications for admission into the certificate program (which can be found on the Department of Family Sciences website) are reviewed once per year following the annual May 10 application due date.

All certificate courses must be completed with a B grade or better (because this is required by the Association of Child Life Professionals to qualify for certification).

The Undergraduate Certificate in Child Life requires a total of 22 credits, as follows:
