PHY 554 - FUNDAMENTALS OF ATOMIC PHYSICS

A continuation of introductory quantum mechanics with application to atomic systems. Topics include angular momentum, perturbation theory, variational principles, interaction of radiation with matter, atomic spectra and the Zeeman and Stark effects.
